VISIBLE CITY by BEATRICE JARVIS at Gallery, Dartington College of Arts, Dartington, Totnes.
Photographer Beatrice Jarvis compares the cities of Birmingham and Venice in an exhibition of visual imagery, film and installation. Beatrice achieved a first in her Choreography and Visual Art degree at Dartington College of Arts, and although she now lives in London and is studying at St Martins, she’s keen to keep exhibiting in the South West. She explores the idea of art as a social practice, encouraging a relationship between performer and audience, transmitter and receiver.
